What’s next?

We’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions and their answers (below and right) to help you find out more. To discuss your concerns about your skin, as well as your hopes for treatment, the first step is to book an initial consultation. What is HydraFacial and how does it work?

Hydrafacial  is a non-invasive skin resurfacing and rejuvenating treatment, which combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection. It is less abrasive than microdermabrasion and delivers significantly better results. It’s also soothing, moisturising and non-invasive.

During the treatment we use a special hand piece to remove dead skin cells and impurities in the skin, whilst infusing it with cleansing, hydrating, and antioxidant serums. We finish by shining red LED lights on to the skin to boost its circulation, reduce redness and irritation, and to stimulate collagen and elastin production.

HydraFacial gives instant results and leaves you with hydrated skin and a more youthful appearance. You can apply make-up right after the treatment and you won’t need to do anything special afterwards or take time off work.

What happens during a treatment?

During your HydraFacial treatment in London, we will use a series of special tools, called HydroPeel tips, to remove dead skin cells and impurities in your skin, while infusing it with cleansing, hydrating, and moisturising serums.

Each HydroPeel tip has multiple edges that exfoliate the skin. The tip is designed to create a vortex effect, which easily dislodges and removes impurities in the skin, while simultaneously treating it with hydrating serums and antioxidants. We pass the tip over your skin several times to get even results.

We’ll begin the Hydrafacial treatment with cleansing and exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal the healthy new skin beneath. A painless vacuum extraction removes impurities from your pores.

We can also use a glycolic and salicylic acid peel, depending on your skin condition, but we would discuss this with you in advance if we feel this should be part of your unique treatment plan.

The final stage is hydration. We’ll infuse your skin with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid (a natural substance found in the body) to hydrate, nourish and protect it. We blend the treatment serums specifically for your skin condition.

Finally, we will shine red LED lights on to your skin to aid circulation, reduce redness and irritation, and to stimulate collagen and elastin production. For acne-prone skin, we use blue LED lights to help fight bacteria.

What can HydraFacial be used to treat?

HydraFacial is ideal for treating fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and oily and acne-prone skin, as well as general rejuvenation of the skin.

Will my treatment hurt?

Not at all. From our own experience and that of clients, a HydraFacial feels like a cool paintbrush moving over your face.

How long will my Hydrafacial treatment take?

Since this is a mechanical facial treatment, it is fast and efficient and typically takes between 30 and 40 minutes.

How much does the HydraFacial cost?

We will discuss your treatment options and proposed treatment plan during your initial consultation, including a full breakdown of the costs. Prices are £230 for a single treatment.
