Skin Fusion Therapy
We developed Skin Fusion Therapy here at WY to add to our range of super advanced, aesthetic skin treatments, this time using the WOW Fusion delivery system: an innovative device which enables us to create truly bespoke skincare cocktails, tailored to target your own skin needs.
WY Skin Fusion Therapy treatments combine a much gentler, more comfortable form of micro-needling with mesotherapy, simultaneously promoting collagen and elastin production whilst delivering potent ingredients deep into the skin to address all ageing concerns. The very fine, 24k gold-plated needles deliver skin-nourishing ingredients to the optimal point in your skin, where the epidermis and dermis meet, effectively reducing fine lines and improving texture and wrinkles. There is minimal to no downtime and minimal discomfort (no need for topical anaesthetic), just brighter, more youthful and radiant skin.
Whether your skin is suffering from the signs of ageing, sun damage, dehydration, hyper pigmentation or excessive oil production, our carefully curated treatment menu has been designed to heal it back to health.
What treatments do you offer on the Skin Fusion Therapy menu?
Our complete combination of gold-standard ingredients – Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), stem cells, B12 and hyaluronic acid – stimulates collagen and elastin production which, in turn, plumps and brightens skin, lifting fine lines and wrinkles for a fully rejuvenated result.
£550 per treatment / £1650 for a course of 4
For brighter eyes, opt for powerful peptides, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. This treatment has been developed specifically to treat the delicate eye area, improving eye contour, dark circles and signs of tiredness, plumping fine surface lines for a brighter, more rested appearance.
£250 per treatment / £750 for a course of 4
A potent cocktail of skin-brightening ingredients (arbutin, aminoethylphosphinic acid, retinyl palmitate, mora albus extract, liquorice extract, vitamins A, C and E) diminishes signs of pigmentation, leaving skin more even looking, brighter and illuminated.
£350 per treatment / £1050 for a course of 4
This ‘microtox’ (baby-Botox) skin treat works to diminish sebum oil and sweat production, reducing pore size and static fine lines, as well as helping to reduce redness and facial flushing.
£350 per treatment – recommended once every 3 months
Drench skin in a blend of powerful hydrating heroes, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants, to plump and rejuvenate deeply dehydrated skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles for a beautifully renewed result.
£400 per treatment / £1200 for a course of 4
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) naturally stimulates collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production to repair, rejuvenate and hydrate skin tissue from within. This treatment reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and sun damage, improving skin texture for a rejuvenated, natural result.
£500 per treatment / £1500 for a course of 4
What happens first?
Before we carry out any treatment, we will ask you to book an initial consultation with our aesthetic doctor. During this consultation, we’ll take a full medical history and carry out the latest Visia computerised skin analysis to take magnified 3D images of your face.
We’ll also carry out a visual assessment of your skin and talk to you about your needs, hopes and expectations. We’ll find out a bit more about lifestyle factors that might not only affect your skin, but also what type of treatment would be most suitable. Having gathered all this valuable information, we’ll create a bespoke treatment plan that is entirely focused on you as an individual.
Will you suggest other treatments?
It may be that you come to us thinking you need one type of treatment but that we are able to suggest a more suitable alternative. Whatever the case, we will very much consider your individual needs and give you an honest assessment, including realistic expectations of the outcomes of your treatment.
What are skin fusion treatments used to treat?
There are several treatments to choose from, dependent on your skin concerns. Skin Fusion Therapy treats fine lines and wrinkles, pore size, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, excessive sebum production, dull and dehydrated skin.
You can expect brighter, hydrated, rejuvenated skin with a visibly improved texture and tone.
Is Skin Fusion Therapy available elsewhere?
No – just here at Waterhouse Young. We created WY Skin Therapy to extend the range of bespoke, medically-proven, results-driven treatments we offer our clients.
What happens during a treatment?
During Skin Fusion Therapy, we use a small treatment head which contains 20 microscopic 24K gold-plated, titanium needles. These super fine needles gently penetrate your skin, causing a series of tiny wounds which trigger your natural healing process, encouraging collagen and elastin production and tightening skin. At the same time, the needles deliver your personalised skincare cocktail – a powerful combination of nutrients and antioxidants – deep into the epidermal / dermal junction, thanks to a small, spiral groove on the outside of the needle which allows product to easily flow down deep into the skin. The cocktail then gets to work, hydrating, brightening and improving the tone and texture of your skin.
Will it hurt?
There is no need for a topical anaesthetic and you should only experience minimal discomfort. The needles used are very fine – the treatment head contains 20 titanium 24K gold plated needles of 0.13mm diameter and, as they are so thin, they make a tiny trauma but without the pain.
How long will my Skin Fusion treatment take?
Skin Fusion treatments take about 30 minutes. Typically, you’ll be with us for an hour or less.
How will my skin look immediately after treatment?
You will notice a little redness and slight swelling in the treated area – the result of the small wounds made by the micro-needling which then trigger the healing process. This is normal and subsides within a day or two. Very rarely, a few small bruises may appear.
How many treatments will I need?
Just one treatment delivers results. You may therefore have a treatment as a one-off or have a course of treatments every two to four weeks (or three months, for Pore Perfector, as it contains Botox), if you’d like optimal results. The benefits of the ingredients increase over time so you’ll notice each treatment is even more effective than the last.
How long will the results last?
You’ll notice the benefits of your treatment – the tightening effects of micro-needling, for example – within a few days. The results will last for up to three months.
How much does it cost?
We will discuss your treatment options and our recommendations during your initial consultation, including pricing. Skin Fusion treatments cost from £250 to £500 each. We also offer a course of four treatments for the price of three.
