We welcomed the opportunity to re-open the clinic as lockdown eased – now more than ever, we know how important it is to offer treatments which boost your health and wellbeing and, critically, in a safe setting. Ensuring the physical and mental health of our patients and staff remains our number one priority.
As an aesthetic medical facility, our hygiene protocols are stringent and there are now additional government guidelines and industry recommendations which we are following to provide a safe clinical environment.
We have therefore introduced a number of simple but important measures which we kindly ask you to adhere to. Please be assured that we are the same team and the clinic is largely unchanged – these are just steps to further minimise the risk of infection which will not affect your experience with us.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following:
Pre-appointment phone call
We will contact you a few days in advance of your scheduled appointment to run through a quick but essential COVID-19 screening process. This will include checking if in the last 14 days:
- – you have had, or are currently experiencing, any COVID-19 associated symptoms
- – you have been feeling unwell
- – you have travelled out of the country recently
- – you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive to COVID-19
If you answer yes to any of these questions, we may deem it necessary to move your appointment to a later date.
We will also inform you of our new clinic policies related to COVID-19, which we will ask you to comply with. If you would prefer not to, then we will ask you to return to the clinic once the pandemic has settled and we no longer need to comply with such measures.
Please arrive no more than five minutes early for your appointment in order to help us manage the flow of patients. When you arrive, please ring the doorbell as usual, and wait to be invited up to the clinic on the second floor.
Please come to the clinic alone. We will not be able to accommodate any additional people whilst we are practising social distancing.
When you arrive on the second floor, please wait for a member of the team to greet you. They will provide you with hand sanitiser and a face mask before showing you to the lounge or treatment room. At this point, you will be asked to sign our COVID-19 screening agreement which you will have discussed over the telephone with us.
Unfortunately, for the time being, we will not be able to offer you the usual range of teas, coffees and juices. We will, however, be offering water in disposable cups.
To limit contact within the clinic, where possible please pay for your treatment in advance when we call you for the initial screening. If this is not possible and you need to pay in clinic, we prefer that all fees are paid for by card, not cash.
Please be aware that all treatment rooms will be thoroughly disinfected between patients and communal areas will be cleaned down at regular intervals. As an additional measure, we have installed air purifiers to remove airborne particles and kill airborne bacteria and viruses.
All staff will wear appropriate PPE for the duration of your treatment and time within the clinic. Staff will be required to change into scrubs when they come to work, to ensure no outside clothes (or shoes) come into contact with patients or medical equipment.
For your further reassurance, all of our staff will have received extensive training to ensure that we continue to offer services in a safe, clean and professional manner, and that comply with COVID-19 guidelines and infection control.
