Rosacea Treatment and Redness

One in ten of us in the UK experiences rosacea and this skin condition often begins as a very mild tendency to flush or blush easily, making it tricky to recognise its onset. It can, however, often progress to persistent redness in the centre of the face that gradually spreads over the cheeks, forehead, chin and sometimes even the eyes. Without treatment, rosacea does tend to become more intense in both how it looks and feels and can also be affected by hormonal changes at different life stages. Like acne, rosacea does not have a cure as such, but it is possible to minimise and manage its effects.

Specialist Rosacea treatment

Specialist Rosacea treatment at Waterhouse Young can massively decrease rosacea’s visible effects and soothe your skin. Typically there is no downtime to the treatments we have available, including Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL) and our iconic HydraFacial, which reduces and calms redness. Along with these, we can also select products from our skincare partners to support your treatment results in between visits to the clinic.

A bespoke treatment plan

The first step is to set up a consultation with us where, if required, we will carry out a comprehensive computerised Visia skin analysis that lets us look beyond the surface layers of your skin to fully understand existing and potential issues. We will then design a bespoke treatment plan that we believe will give the best outcome.
