Dr Alexa Croffey MBChB (Hons)

Aesthetic Doctor

Dr Alexa is a fully certified GMC registered doctor with a wealth of experience in surgery and medicine. She graduated from Liverpool Medical School with the highest accreditation of Honours, before completing her foundation years across the Oxford Deanery. She went on to work in Acute Medicine at Barts and The London Hospital Trust, while undertaking training in aesthetic Medicine at one of the most prestigious institutions.

Dr Alexa offers a wide variety of injectable procedures with a passion for natural enhancement and restoration of the ageing process. Her priority is patient well-being, focusing on aesthetic treatments that also improve the way her patients feel. She will discuss your concerns and goals before tailoring a bespoke treatment plan to address your individual needs.

What does ageing mean to you?

We all accept that as we get older our bodies change, however sometimes these changes can start to have a negative impact on how we feel about ourselves. Subtle treatments can have a massive impact on our confidence and well-being so that we age in a way that reflects the best version of ourselves.

What is your favourite part of your role at WY?

I love that I get to meet so many different people every day. Everyone has their own unique story to tell and I am passionate about getting to know my patients so that I can recommend treatments that will suit their individual lifestyle.

What do you think is the next big trend in skin and beauty?

I am so glad that embracing a natural look has become the preferred trend. A good daily skincare routine along with some subtle in-clinic enhancements if needed will always win for me.

Why is now the time to have an honest approach to skin and life?

This past year has given a lot of people time to prioritise the important things in life. As we get back to ‘normality’ we should try to remember the simple things we appreciated so much as restrictions eased. Making time to take care of ourselves and our loved ones being top of that list.

What is one tweak you have made to your well-being routine which has made a difference in the last year?

During the first lockdown I discovered lots of green spaces close to my home. I have continued to incorporate a walk into my daily routine whenever I can, to get some fresh air and clear my mind.

What are your favourite things to do when you are not in the clinic?

My favourite thing is spending time with my family and friends. I have a beautiful baby girl and I am enjoying introducing her to the world. I also love to travel and explore new places.
